For importers, dealers & bulk buyers
Build a range
you can support.
A successful equipment order needs a clear application brief, a traceable configuration and a practical handover plan.
Use this process to organise a first order, compare a mixed-model purchase or prepare an equipment range for your customers.
From a buying brief to a usable equipment file.
Define the commercial role
An importer may need a market-ready product file. A dealer needs to explain the differences between models. A fleet buyer needs equipment suited to repeated work at known sites. Start by identifying which decision the order must support.
A focused buying brief
Tell us the buyer type, destination, expected quantity, target applications and the gaps in your current equipment range.
Agree a sellable configuration
Name each variant completely. Cutting system, engine or battery, chassis and controller should be identified together. A similar body or the same cutting width does not establish an equivalent machine.
One configuration record per model
A model sheet, product images and written confirmation of the options included in the quotation. Keep alternatives on separate lines.
Validate the machine before the order
Use a demonstration to answer the unresolved buying question. A dealer assessing cut finish needs a different video from a buyer checking low clearance or controller operation.
Evidence linked to the shortlist
State the machine version, working conditions and viewing sequence required. Review the before-and-after result with the matching specification sheet.
Plan receipt and handover
Machine dimensions, package dimensions and gross weight answer different questions. Check receiving equipment, storage and the final package contents before arranging shipment.
An order and delivery file
Model quantities, confirmed packing list, package measurements, supplied items and agreed commercial terms. Request the applicable operation guidance for handover.
Prepare the support conversation
A useful service request starts with identification. Record the machine and engine details, the operating conditions and a clear description of the issue. Component photographs help identify the correct part or next check.
A support record your team can use
Model, serial or identification label where available, purchase reference, photographs or video and the question to be resolved. Confirm parts availability and warranty terms for the order.
Purchasing situations
Different buyers need different deliverables.
| Buying situation | What to decide first | What to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| First import order | Which application and configuration will establish the range? | A small shortlist, destination, initial quantities, product documentation and receiving requirements. |
| Dealer range expansion | Which customer need is missing from the current line-up? | A comparison of rotary, flail, EV or snow equipment, with model-specific demonstration requests. |
| Multi-site or bulk purchase | Which requirements are shared across the sites, and which differ? | Site groups, access dimensions, vegetation descriptions and quantities by machine configuration. |
Before purchase approval
Keep the offer specific enough to check.
A complete offer lets your purchasing, sales and receiving teams refer to the same equipment. Where a detail is still open, list it as a question before confirming the order.
